Train to be a detective - crime scene investigation training for students, schools, colleges, university and police

Crime Investigation Lectures

csi lectures and workshops - curriculum development and enrichment

I have a number of “off the peg” lectures which are modern, up to date with current examples to back up student learning.  Some of the investigations which are covered within the Criminology syllabus I have first-hand knowledge of as a result of working on the Metropolitan Police Homicide Investigation teams at the time of them. I introduce aspects of crime scene investigation principles using the case studies from within their syllabus ie the Meredith Kercher investigation, Damilola Taylor investigation, and the Camden Ripper Anthony Hardy. DNA explanations are provided using the example of the Colin Pitchfork case and the forensic evidence surrounding the Jill Dando enquiry amongst others. I can also offer examples of cold case investigation and the additional aspects that need to be considered.

I have devised a number of different lengths of these lectures to fit your individual requirements and can make them bespoke to your needs.  They can vary from between 1-3 hours, and I provide conference rates for separate College groups if required (please see price menu). These lectures can be delivered for E-learning or distance learning students and are a fantastic opportunity for enrichment and curriculum development.
